Arrowsmith Gold Announces Inaugural Dave Jokinen Humanitarian Award Recipient

Arrowsmith Gold Inc. (AGI) is proud to announce Kulé (AJ) Kambere, a medical student at the American University of Anguilla, as the first recipient of the Dave Jokinen Humanitarian Award for 2024/2025. The award includes financial support for Kulé's medical studies.

The Award's Origins:

The award honours Dave Jokinen, father of AGI's Owner/Managing Director Janis Shandro and Deputy Director Laura Jokinen. Dave's compassionate approach to helping others, particularly those often overlooked by society, inspired the creation of both the company and this humanitarian award. His influence began early, exposing his daughters to various health scenarios and facilitating their first employment at a psychiatric hospital in Northwestern Ontario.

A Heart for Service and Community

Kulé's commitment to service extends through his mentorship of successful dance groups like Funkanometry, Gigabots, and GRVMNT, while also organizing international health fairs and community outreach programs.

Looking Ahead

The Dave Jokinen Humanitarian Award recognizes not just Kulé's past achievements but his potential to create lasting impact. His unique ability to bridge the worlds of medicine and arts, while maintaining a strong focus on community, exemplifies the values this award represents.
